Travel
The nearest international airport is located in Kraków (KRK) at a distance of about 110 km from Zakopane.
On the first day of the conference, Monday, August 27, we will provide bus transportation from Kraków to Zakopane. The conference buses will leave from Plac Jana Matejki, downtown Kraków (near the main railway station) at 12:00 and 14:00, from the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Radzikowskiego 152, at 12:30, and from the Kraków Balice Airport at 13:00 and 15:00. The buses will be marked with conference posters.
The departure points for the busses are Kraków, Plac Jana Matejki (near the Railway Station, see the red mark on the map), and Kraków Balice Aiport, next to the International Terminal. When exiting the luggage claim area take a left turn and exit the building.

A return bus service from Zakopane to Kraków (via the airport) will be offered on Sunday, September 2, in the morning. The first bus will leave for the airport at 6:30, followed by later departures at 9:00 and 10:30. The travel time to the airport is about 2 hours. The travel town to Kraków Downtown (Railway Station) is about 2 1/2 hours. Please register here for the return bus service.
One may also reach Zakopane by public transport. There is a regular bus connection from the Kraków bus station (RDA) to Zakopane. The buses leave every 30 minutes, the travel time is approximately 2 hours. There is a train service connecting Kraków Balice Airport with the main train and bus station.
Distance from Kraków to Zakopane by road is 110 km. Typical driving time is about 2 hours.
